Finger puppet time!

Great Aunt Martha requested some finger puppet pictures, so here they are! Drew loves showing the puppet to Jackson. Thanks Kentucky clan!

Tummy time!

Jackson doesn't really care for tummy time. Some days he loves it, and some days he hates it.

He got so mad on September 24 that he decided to roll from his tummy to his back. I actually was able to get pictures of it! Right after the second shot, mommy's camera died....go figure! At least I got part of the roll!

Drew loves baby Jackson!

Drew loves to hold Jackson, and wants me to take a picture every time. He is such a great big brother, and helps mommy out so much by getting diapers and bottles for Jackson. Drew and Jackson 2nd day home.

The first week

The first week was a good one, other than sleeping at night. Jackson has his days and nights mixed up. He woke up every 3-4 hours to eat, so mom did not get much rest! He is absolutely wonderful during the day. Since he sleeps the whole day, mom can kind of get her rest and clean the house!

We were able to go home on Tuesday, September 4. It was nice having all the help in the hospital, but it was also good to know we could finally go home and start our new life together as a family!

Jackson in the NICU

Jackson had to be in the NICU for about 5 hours because the doctors thought he was not progressing the way he should. They thought it was due to the Adovan mom had to take becasue of the panic attack she had during the delivery. The doctors thought some of the medicine got into Jacksons system. He ended up being just fine!

Seeing Jackson for the First time

The grandmas were so excited to finally meet Jackson. We all thought he looked just like his big brother Drew.

First Look!

I'm a big brother!

Once Jackson arrived, Drew was the first one to see him (besides mom and dad). He absolutely loves his baby brother! When it was time to bring the rest of the family in to see Jackson, Drew ran out into the waiting room and yelled "come on everybody, Jackson's out!" He is a very proud big brother.
